Coronavirus: Miami County Animal Shelter changes hours in response to social distancing

TROY — The Miami County Animal Shelter has decided to limit contact between the staff and public in an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the staff said in a statement.

The facility, 110 N. County Road 25A, will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. by appointment only.

Clients and customers can also call during that time to schedule an appointment, which is being limited to Miami County residents until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience this causes, the staff said in the statement.
