UPDATE: Woman, 80, killed in Dayton house fire

DAYTON — Fire crews discovered a woman dead inside a house that caught on fire early Friday morning in Dayton.

Tina Moore, 80, lived at the house and was pronounced dead after firefighters pulled her from the burning home.

Someone driving by the house in the 4400 block of Prescott Avenue called 911 to report the fire just after 4:30 a.m., according to Dayton fire officials.

It’s unknown what caused the fire.
