The suspect is described as a black male, standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall; weighing 160 pounds; and having dread locks to his chest. The suspect was wearing all black clothing; black work gloves; and a blue baseball-style cap with red bill, red trim and white triangle logo.
He ran out the door.

A Dollar General store in Clayton currently displays a sign informing customers they are closed following a report of an armed robbery Tuesday afternoon.
Clayton police declined to provide additional details at the scene.
About an hour after the robbery was reported, a store in Dayton was also robbed at gunpoint. It was not immediately clear if the two incidents were connected.

Police have responded to reports of a man who robbed a dollar store in Clayton Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched to the Dollar General at 8126 North Main Street in Clayton around 12:50 p.m. when employees reported the robbery.

Reports indicate a man entered the store and displayed a gun before fleeing the area. The employees locked the doors of the business after the robbery, according to dispatch records.
