A baby was born along Ohio 725 near Spring Valley as the baby’s parents were trying to make it to the hospital for the birth Wednesday morning.
The incident happened around 3:40 a.m. and as the family was driving to a local hospital the mother went into labor.
“It’s out! It’s out, it’s out,” the father of the baby said, as 911 dispatchers walked him through the delivery process.
Firefighters and medics arrived after the baby was born and transported the mother and baby to a local hospital.
During the 911 call it was reported that the baby was breathing, however we are still working to learn how the newborn is doing this afternoon.
