Dayton man killed in Saturday crash identified

The man killed in a crash on West Third Street Saturday has been identified by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Orlando Love, 49, of Dayton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

One person has pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on West Third Street in Dayton, according to our crew at the scene.

Our crew reports a white sheet can be seen in the passenger side of the car. The driver has been taken to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.

Our newsroom is working to learn the identity of the victims as well as what caused the single-car crash just after 7:30 p.m.

Emergency crews are working to remove a trapped passenger from a car crash in Dayton Saturday evening.

Police and medics were sent to the intersection of West Third Street and Woodward Avenue around 7:35 p.m. for a reported entrapment crash.

Our crew at the scene reports a car hit a pole on West Third Street, sending the driver to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.

The severity of the trapped passenger's injuries remains unknown at this time.
