TROTWOOD — UPDATE @ 1:26 p.m. (April 29):

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office said the man found dead near railroad tracks on Stratacache Way died from hypothermia.

James R. Ulery’s death was ruled an accident.

UPDATE @ 11:30 a.m. (Feb. 25):

The Montgomery County Coroner has identified the body of a man found dead near railroad tracks behind a Trotwood facility Wednesday afternoon.

James Richard Ulery, 31, was identified by Dr. Kent Harshbarger as the person found dead around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday on Stratacache Way in Trotwood.

Ulery’s cause and manner of death have not been determined and are still under investigation, Harshbarger said.

Previously, Trotwood police said there were not obvious signs of trauma to Ulery’s body and their investigation remains ongoing to determine the cause.
