Rain and snow is moving in from the west. As temperatures drop, everything will change to snow, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said. Widespread snow is expected to continue through 1 a.m.

Tonight: Snow continues to move in for the rest of the evening and some of it could be heavy at times. The chance for accumulation looks best on grassy and elevated surfaces. Most area roadways look to stay wet, however, overnight those wet roads may ice over in some spots before daybreak Monday. The snow will likely end around 3 or 3 a.m. with most areas getting 1.5 inches, but some spots could see up to 3 inches.
Monday: A dry day is expected with partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 40s. Rain returns overnight into Tuesday.
Tuesday: A soggy day is on tap with widespread showers likely affecting both the morning and evening commutes. Highs will be in the middle 60s.
Wednesday: Lingering rain or snow is possible for the first part of the day. It'll be cooler and windy with highs in the lower 40s.

Thursday: Temperatures rebound to the middle to upper 40s under partly cloudy skies.
Friday: The chance for rain returns with highs in the upper 40s.
