Most of the building’s roof collapsed due to the fire, which forced firefighters to fight the blaze defensively.

Due to the size of the fire, a large amount of water was used by firefighters to bring the fire under control, Dayton Fire District Chief Adam Landis said.

There were no injuries reported, and the club had closed earlier in the night.

The fire remains under investigation.
