Man arrested following fight, cutting in Butler Twp.

BUTLER TWP., Montgomery County — A man was arrested after he was accused of fighting with several people, leading to one of the victims getting cut, according to Butler Twp. Police.

Officers responded to the 6700 block of Miller Lane around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Once in the area, police requested additional help from other agencies, according to emergency dispatch traffic.

According to an incident report, both drugs and alcohol are suspected as being involved in the incident.

The suspect was arrested and police said he also cut the tire of a vehicle in the area.

He also was accused of spitting blood on one of the officers who responded.

The case is being presented to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges in the case.

The suspect’s name has not been released.
