Martin’s vehicle crossed the centerline of the highway and veered into oncoming traffic around 11:30 a.m.

This forced another driver, Kellen Amspaugh, 31 from Ansonia, traveling south on U.S. 127 to swerve out of the way.

Both vehicles avoided collision and came to a rest in a nearby ditch according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Martin was taken to Wayne Hospital where he died due to his medical condition he suffered while driving.
