UPDATE @ 7:35 a.m.
A garage housing two vehicles was destroyed and five other structures were damaged in a fire on Steele Avenue in Dayton Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 700 block of Steele Avenue around 5:35 a.m. where crews reported the detached garage was well involved in smoke and flames.
Dayton Fire District Chief James Rose said the cause of the fire is unknown but is suspicious. A fire investigator will handle the investigation.
The garage and two vehicles inside are total losses.
Rose said five surrounding structures sustained damage in the fire.
The exact cost of the fire is unknown, but Rose said it will be over $50,000.
No injuries were reported.

Firefighters in Dayton have been dispatched to reports of a fully involved garage fire on Steele Avenue early Tuesday morning.
Crews were dispatched to the 700 block of Steele Avenue around 5:35 a.m. and reported the detached structure was fully involved in smoke and flames.
Scanner traffic from the scene indicates a second garage might have sustained some damage from the fire, and a downed power line was reported in the alley.
