Two emergency room nurses rushed to help a newborn at the Bellbrook El Toro restaurant Monday night after the infant’s mother noticed her child was suffering from a medical issue.
“During this event at El Toro...there happened to be a couple ER nurses that stepped in and did CPR until the squad got there,” the baby’s mother Nicole Turull said. “Praising God for the right people being in the right place at the right time.”

Turull’s baby girl, Isla, was transported to Dayton Children’s Hospital, where she remains in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, but is expected to be OK. Isla is only a few weeks old.
Dayton Children’s Hospital officials said Turull has been able to locate one of the nurses who helped and she is a nurse at Atrium Medical Center, however Turull is still hoping to find out who the other nurse is who jumped in to help.
“If anyone can help me find them, we would like to thank them for saving our baby’s life,” the mother said.
