Both lanes of U.S. 35 at Factory Road are open to traffic after closing due to a semi crash Friday night.

Further details regarding the crash and the condition of the man in the pickup truck are unknown at this time, according to dispatchers.

Both directions of U.S. 35 at Factory Road remain closed after a Tuesday night crash.

Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatchers said officers are still at the scene.

A semi hauling campers T-boned a red pickup truck tonight that shut down the intersection of U.S. 35 and Factory Road in Beavercreek.

The pickup driver, a man, was seriously injured and taken to Miami Valley Hospital. He had to be extricated from the pickup by emergency crews. Although his injuries are serious, they are not believed to be life-threatening, according to troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The driver of the Indiana Transport semi was not hurt.

It’s not clear which driver is at fault. The crash remains under investigation.

FIRST REPORT

A serious crash between a semi and pickup tonight has blocked the intersection at U.S. 35 and Factory Road in Beavercreek.

The crash was reported around 9:30 p.m. Both directions of U.S. 35 and Factory Road are closed for the crash, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, which is investigating the crash.

According to initial reports, at least one person was believed to be trapped in the wreckage and one of the trucks was on its side.
