Victim taken to hospital after shooting in Clark County

UPDATE @ 5:35 p.m.:

A victim was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot early Sunday morning in the 2800 block of Ash Drive, according to Lt. Kris Shultz.

It is unknown where the person was shot at or the cause.

The investigation is still active, and an update will be given sometime Monday morning.

FIRST REPORT:

Police are investigating a shooting in German Township early Sunday, according to Clark County dispatchers.

Crews were dispatched to the 2800 block of Ash Drive around 2:50 a.m. on initial reports of a male shot in the stomach.

The victim’s condition is not known.

Suspect information was not made available.

This is the second shooting out of Clark County this morning. The first shooting left a male dead in Springfield.
