Police ID man arrested in connection to Dayton homicide case

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 11:25 a.m. (Nov. 15):

Dayton police confirmed they have arrested Lance Irvin in connection to the shooting death of Jesse Samuel Redavide.

Irvin was arrested Tuesday afternoon and booked into jail on suspicion of murder, according to jail records.

Dayton police said they’ve made an arrest in connection to the shooting death of Jesse Samuel Redavide.

No other information is being released at this time.

UPDATE @ 1:15 p.m. 

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting Tuesday morning as Jesse Samuel Redavide, 21, of Dayton.

An autopsy is scheduled to be completed later today, and his cause of death had not been determined, according to the coroner’s office.

A suspect vehicle was located around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 4300 block of Sylvan Drive in Dayton, according to dispatchers. Callers into this newsroom indicate multiple police units are on scene investigating.

Additional details on the found car were not available.

UPDATE @5 a.m.

Police said a fatal shooting victim got into an argument with someone before shots were fired early Tuesday.

A suspect has not been identified and no arrests have been made.

The victim is a 21-year-old male, although his identity has not been released.
