WATCH: Police seek armed robbers who hit Verizon store at The Greene

Beavercreek police have released surveillance video from a Verizon store armed robbery over the weekend.

Police are seeking information to identify five to six males wearing masks.

UPDATE @ 10:25 p.m. (Feb. 16)

A male, who identified himself as a Verizon store employee, said the group of robbers armed with guns barged in through the rear door of the business as he was trying to lock up for the night.

They grabbed at least 50 cell phones and ran out, the employee said.

A store assistant manager corroborated the employee’s version of events, and noted that the group apparently dropped one of the phones somewhere in the area.

A Beavercreek police officer would only confirm that a robbery had occurred. The officer offered no other information.

Five to six armed men wearing masks have robbed the Verizon store at The Greene Town Center, 17 Greene Blvd.

The robbery was reported just after 9 p.m. We’re hearing the assailants entered through a back door.

They were last seen turning onto Indian Ripple, toward the interstate.
