The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. reportedly starting as a brake fire, which caused the end of the trailer to be fully engulfed in flames at one point, according to officials.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire and state troopers are not sure if the driver will be cited at this time.
The State Route 54 ramp onto I-70 as well as the right lane on westbound I-70 were the only closures reported by Ohio Highway State Patrol. Both have since reopened.
