INITIAL REPORT:

A man was arrested following a short pursuit after a report of shots being fired during a reported burglary on Clifton Road this afternoon, deputies said.

Deputies responded to the home in the 1700 block of Clifton around 12:30 p.m.

After responding to the burglary report, a short pursuit of a suspect vehicle occurred, which ultimately ended in an arrest on Radar Street in Xenia, deputies said. The suspect had his dog with him during the chase.

Deputies have not released the suspect's name and are still investigating whether any shots were actually fired during the reported burglary.
