UPDATE @ 8:55 p.m. (Aug. 25): Two people have been removed from the plane, believed to be a 1980 Cessna 172N, that crashed into a home near Sky King Airport just after 7 p.m., WTHITV News 10.com reports.

The two people have been taken to hospitals by air ambulance. No one was at home at the time of the crash.

A small plane has crashed into a home in northern Vigo County, reports WTHITV News 10.com.

Emergency crews are on the scene, reported to be near Rosehill Avenue near Sky King Airport.

There has been no word on injuries. At least one emergency helicopter has been dispatched.
