Auto repair shop reportedly catches fire in Xenia

XENIA — UPDATE @ 1:15 p.m.:

The fire department is still on scene at 687 North Detroit Street.

Dispatchers were unable to provide an update on the status of the fire.

Official scanner traffic reports indicate the structure is an auto repair shop and crews have the fire under control.

INITIAL REPORT:

Crews are working to make entry at a reported structure fire in the 600 block of North Detroit Street in Xenia, according to scanner traffic.

Initial reports indicated smoke and flames were showing.

There are currently no details on whether or not anyone has been injured or if anything in the building is damaged.
