Can you ID break-in suspects? Dayton company offers $500 reward

DAYTON — Surveillance footage captured thieves early Sunday breaking into JC Roofing Supply.

Now, the business owner is offering a $500 reward to anyone who can identify the culprits for arrest and prosecution.

The break-in happened around 5 a.m. at the business, 1508 Keystone Ave.

The video shows two males use a large hammer to shatter the front door glass. The hammer-wielding suspect was wearing blue jeans and the second suspect was wearing tan pants and black boots, according to a Dayton police report. Taken were supplies worth $1,500 and there was an additional $1,000 in damage to the door.
