A 40-year-old Celina man was killed in a two-vehicle crash this afternoon at U.S. 127 and Brown Road in Mercer County.
Preliminary investigation shows that a 2015 Isuzu box truck driven by Joshua Bruns, 37, of New Bremen, was headed north on U.S. 127 and went left of center for an unknown reason. The truck struck a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban headed south that was driven by 40-year-old Aaron Rose of Celina, according to the Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey.

The impact pushed the Suburban through the guardrail and it rolled onto its side. Rose was pronounced dead at the scene by Mercer County Coroner Timothy Heinrichs.
Bruns was taken by Lutheran Air to Lutheran Hospital - Fort Wayne.

Also responding to the crash were Celina Squad and Fire Department, members of Mercer County MCERV and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
