A 56-year-old Laura woman was injured this afternoon in a rollover crash on Ohio 571 in Darke County.
Dorcus McGuirk was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital after she apparently lost control of her 2003 Dodge Durango around 1:15 p.m. in the 9100 block of Ohio 571 and dropped off the right side of the roadway. McGuirk over-corrected and overturned while going off the road but her vehicle came to rest on its wheels, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
McGuirk’s injuries are considered not life-threatening, and deputies said the crash remains under investigation.
Pitsburg Fire, Laura Fire and Arcanum Rescue also responded to the crash.
