2 CareFlight helicopters respond to Preble Co. crash

UPDATE @ 5:45 a.m.:

Deputies in Preble County say two people suffered serious injuries after a single vehicle crash Sunday morning.

Medics and deputies were dispatched shortly after 1:10 a.m. Sunday to the 500 block of Lakengren Drive in Gasper Township on a reported rollover crash.

Deputies say two men in their 20s were inside a pickup truck when the vehicle rolled and trapped them. Two separate CareFlight helicopters were requested to the scene to transport both victims to Miami Valley Hospital.

Both men sustained serious injuries, but their condition is unknown.

The crash remains under investigation, and it is unknown if speed, alcohol, or drugs were factors in the crash.

Medics in Preble County have requested multiple CareFlight helicopters to respond to a crash in the 500 block of East Lackengren Drive.

The Preble County Sheriff’s Office says two people were injured in a crash that occurred before 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Both were trapped, but have been extricated and are being flown by CareFlight to area hospitals.
