3 masked gunmen rob Markey Lounge

Three masked gunmen early today robbed the Markey Lounge.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery, reported at 12:08 a.m. at 5207 Markey Road.

The three men all had pistols and had their faces covered when they stole money from the cash register and patrons, according to the sheriff’s office.

The robbers made threats but no one was hurt.

Deputies searched the area with the aid of a Dayton Police Department K-9, but the suspects were not caught.

The armed robbery remains under investigation.
