3-vehicle accident in Oakwood slows traffic

A driver police identified only as a “young man” will be cited for failure to yield following a three-vehicle accident on Far Hills Avenue.

According to police, the young man, driving an Infinity, pulled into traffic and into the path of a BMW and a Ford Focus sometime about 8:30 p.m.

No one was injured, police said, but the vehicles were damaged and had to be towed from the scene, near Hadley Avenue. One of the vehicles ended up in the yard of a home.

Police said a large section of decorative bushes in the median along Far Hills Avenue apparently blocked the view of the young driver.
