Firebombs damage Dayton home

Dayton firefighters say a house suffered damage after being hit with firebombs twice Sunday morning.

Crews say the second attack on the house in the 200 block of Brooklyn Avenue, which occurred around 5 a.m. Sunday, did the most damage according to Dayton Fire District Chief James Rose.

Rose says firefighters were dispatched a few hours earlier, but little structural damage was done by the homemade incendiary devices. Crews battled flames that went into the walls and inside the home during the second fight that left significant damage.

The homeowners were not home during either fire and no injuries were reported.

The fires remain under investigation.
