5/3 Bank robber strikes again in Oakwood

Oakwood police released more details about the investigation.

The robber presented a hand-written note demanding money. He “indicated he had a gun” but didn’t display one, according to police.

He got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

Investigators have determined through video surveillance that the robber is the same person who robbed the Fifth Third Bank in Tipp City.

The robber is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, 5-feet-10-inches with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, gray-hooded sweatshirt and a red toboggan.

Oakwood police believe the robber is the same unidentified suspect who robbed the Fifth Third Bank in Tipp City on April 11.

Oakwood police are looking for the male who robbed the Fifth Third Bank, 2601 Far Hills Ave.

The robbery occurred just after noon today.

Kettering Police joined in the search for the suspect.

The robber was described as a white male, about 5-feet-10-inches, wearing a zip-up jacket and an orange or red knitted hat.

Police plan to release surveillance images from the robbery.
