Man jumps counter, robs Speedway at gunpoint

Police say a man held up a Speedway in Huber Heights with a gun and jumped the counter to get the cash.

Officers from Huber Heights responded to the Speedway at 6385 Chambersburg Road around 11:45 Monday night on reports a man held up the convenience store with a handgun.

Police say the robber fled the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 lbs. in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing a dark colored windbreaker, jeans, black bandana across his face, and white gloves.

Riverside Police attempted to track the suspect with a K9 but were unsuccessful. No injuries were reported.
