Subway sandwich shop robber took cash — footlong

Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a Subway sandwich shop robber who took cash and the footlong he ordered.

The robbery occurred just before 9 p.m. at the shop in the 4000 block of North Main Street.

An employee tells us the man with a gun demanded cash after ordering a steak and cheese with extra mayo.

“He was in and out, really fast,” the worker said.

No one was hurt and no shots were fired. A K-9 was dispatched to help Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies in their search for the gunman.
