SUV hits Fairborn house, injures resident

A woman inside a house struck by an SUV tonight had to go to a local hospital.

A driver lost control at 7:40 p.m. and struck a large front window of a Lindway Drive home.

The house will be condemned, and a woman who was inside her living room was taken to a hospital, primarily as a precaution, according to Fairborn fire officials.

It is not clear how the driver, described as a young man, lost control on the residential street with a 25 mph speed limit. He was not injured in the crash, which remains under investigation by Fairborn police.

An SUV crashed into a house tonight in Fairborn.

Medics were called around 7:40 p.m. to the crash at 50 Lindway Drive on a report of an injury crash after the white sport-utility vehicle struck a residence.
