Tornado touched down in Kettering Sunday

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has confirmed that a weak tornado passed through the city of Kettering late Sunday night.

The EF0-strength twister touched down near Glenmina Drive and East Rahn Road, according to NWS.

The tornado crossed over Wilmington Pike where the damages were more sporadic.

Other areas impacted were Parklawn and Meadow Park drives.

Any ground-based circulation appears to have ended by Corlington Drive, according to NWS.

Several trees were uprooted in the area, but no structural damages were reported.

* Maximum path width was 75 yards
