When police arrived, they found the car empty and on fire near Stroop Road and the Town and Country Shopping Center.

Kettering Police told News Center 7′s Kayla Courvell that they found the driver down the road and learned that he was from a different country and just recently arrived in the U.S. so he did not know what to do in an emergency situation.

The right northbound lane of Far Hills Avenue was closed for a little over an hour while police investigated the crash.
