WEST HARRISON, Ind. — The driver of a semitrailer was killed after the truck crashed into a weigh station on I-74 near the Indiana-Ohio state line, according to Indiana State Police.

The crash happened Wednesday morning on westbound I-74 near West Harrison, Indiana. State troopers said the semi left the roadway then crashed through the building.
Indiana State Police identified the driver as James Bristol, 63, of Jefferson City, Tennessee.
Initially, Indiana State Police said they were searching for victims, but later found Bristol dead. There were no workers in the building at the time of the crash and no other injuries were reported, ISP Sgt. Stephen Wheeles said in a social media message.
ISP asks witnesses of the crash to contact the Versailles District at 812-689-5000.
