DETAILED FORECAST

Friday: WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY will be in effect through most of the day. Rain quickly will change to freezing rain and sleet by midday, and then to snow late in the day or evening. Snow will be likely as we head through Friday night. There will be a chance for some ice accumulation before the precipitation changes to snow. Snowfall amounts will range from around 3 to 5 inches across the Miami Valley. A bit less is possible northwest and a bit more can't be ruled out farther south and east. Gusty winds will develop Friday night and create blowing and drifting snow – likely reducing visibility. Temperatures will drop into the 20s by evening.
