OHIO — Gov. Mike DeWine coordinated with the USDA Food and Nutrition Services to allow SNAP recipients to order their groceries online and pick them up without needing to enter the store.
>> Coronavirus: Kroger announces ‘hero bonus’ to frontline workers
To help ensure our most vulnerable Ohioans have access to food while helping to keep potential exposure to COVID-19 to a minimum, we have been working with our federal partners, the @USDANutrition, and the grocery stores on a “click and collect” option to get groceries.

Electronic Benefit Transfer cards can also be swiped from the car.
The governor hopes these changes will now help the mom who does not have child care, the adult with an underlying health condition, or the senior citizen at high risk, he said.
If stores do not offer a mobile sales device, SNAP recipients will still be able to order online and go inside the store to pay and pickup the order which will reduce the overall time that he or she is risking possible exposure to the virus.
