Grand jury hands up indictments against 3 in December 2019 deadly home invasion

DAYTON — Three men are now formally charged in a deadly home invasion in December that left two people dead.

A Montgomery County grand jury on Wednesday handed up a multiple-count indictment against Daylequan Arnold Jr., 23, Deon Harris Jr., 27, and King Turner, 21, all of Dayton.

In the early morning of Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, Dayton police were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of Ethel Avenue on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, They located a deceased victim later identified as Frankie McGee Jr. In another room, Christopher Huntley was found and taken to a hospital. Huntley died of his injuries Dec. 28, 2019.

The investigation revealed the defendants forced their way into the home to commit a burglary and shot both victims multiple times while committing the burglary.

The indictment returned Wednesday formally charges each of the defendants on two counts of aggravated murder, four counts of murder, four counts of aggravated burglary and four counts of felonious assault.

All of the counts also include 3‐year firearm specifications. Additionally, defendant Harris was indicted on one count of having weapons as a convicted felon, and defendant Turner was indicted on two counts of having weapons as a convicted felon.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of the three men. They will be arraigned June 18.
