The month of April is a great time to get outside and do some stargazing.

But instead of stars, we recommend that you look for two planets. Mars and Venus are two planets that will be most visible this month.

If you wake up early, look to the east/southeast sky to find Venus. In the beginning of the month, visibility is best around 7 a.m. and by the end of the month around 6:30 a.m. It will shine bright and twinkle, unlike other stars in the sky.

During the evening hours, go back outside and look for Mars, which will be brighter than other stars. Look to the western horizon for this planet.

At the beginning of April, Mars is most visible around 8:30 p.m. and about 9 p.m. by the end of the month.
