“The 6888 Kitchen Incubator, created in 2020, is the premiere intersection of food business education, equitable food systems, and economic development,” the manager said in the media release. “A project of the nonprofit, OH Taste, the mission of the Kitchen is to grow the local economy by providing resources to food entrepreneurs. The OH Taste Foundation provides the groundwork for future success by establishing incubator kitchens, financial literacy programs, and agricultural and workplace development initiatives.”
The space will house commercial kitchen space, storage and baking facilities, the manager said. Educational programs will also be available to under-resourced local food business owners.
