Amazon seeks to add alcohol delivery services in Ohio

Online retail giant Amazon could be adding alcohol delivery services in two Ohio cities.

Prime Now LLC, an affiliate company of Amazon, submitted permit applications for Franklin and Hamilton counties to the Ohio Department of Commerce. The permits would allow online sales and delivery of beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages.

It would allow Amazon Prime members to order alcoholic beverages online and it delivered within two hours to their home.
