Baby toys, fidget spinners among this week’s product recalls

DAYTON — Baby toys, fidget spinners and a TV are among the latest product recalls announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

VTech is recalling the Lights and Lullabies Travel Mobiles because they may fall on your infant.

There have been six reports of the crib rail clamp cracking, but no injuries.

The mobiles were sold at Kmart, Walmart, Amazon.com and zulily.com last year.

Stop using the mobile and contact VTech at 800-521-2010 for a full refund or replacement product.

Infant rattles made by VTech are also under recall.

The Shake & Sing Elephant rattle is a potential choking hazard because the ears on the elephant can break off.

There have been five reports of broken ears, but no one has been hurt.

These rattles were sold at Walmart, Kmart, Meijer, Amazon.com, zulily.com, and other retailers from November 2017 through November of 2017.

Don't let your child use the rattle and contact VTech at 800-521-2010 for a full refund or replacement.

Pokemon fidget spinner keychains by Fashion Accessory Bazaar are being recalled because a post inside the spinner can come loose creating a choking hazard.

These were sold at Gamestop, Amazon.com, and other retailers and websites last year. No injuries have been reported.

Stop using the keychain and contact Fashion Accessory Bazaar at 888-320-3299 for a full refund.

Panasonic is recalling some 55-inch LED/LCD flat screen televisions because mounting screws connected to the swivel stand can come loose and cause the TV to tip over.

These televisions, model number TH055LRU50, were sold to schools, hotels, and government buildings.

No one has been injured, but stop using the television and keep it away from children.

Drinking fountains and water bottle filling stations are being recalled by due to a risk of shock.

There are dozens of model numbers of Elkay and Halsey Taylor water cooler and bottle filling stations impacted.

They were installed in schools and other public facilities.

There are over 350 reports of broken grounding wire screws being found in the units, but no injuries.

Stop using the units, unplug them, and contact Elkay at 866-243-3070 for a free repair kit.

Murphy bed hardware kits by Rockler are under recall because they don't sufficiently attach to the wall, which can cause the wall enclosure can come detached and fall.

There are five reports of the wooden wall enclosure toppling over. One person has been injured.

Rockler is reaching out to purchasers directly to send them a free repair kit, but in the meantime stop using the bed and hardware kits.
