BEAVERCREEK, Ohio — Beavercreek City Schools announced Thursday that it will transition to a blended learning model beginning Monday, Oct. 19 and is expected to last for at least two weeks.
The decision to transition to a new learning model was due to Gov. DeWine placing Greene County under a Risk Level 3/Red Alert based on criteria on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System.

School officials said families who currently participate in virtual learning will not be impacted.
Instruction will be provided through Google Classroom and each student has a district-issued device.
Principals in each of the buildings are working with staff to implement blended learning plans. The principals will be communicating with parents additional information as needed as the transition to blended learning takes place.
