A 10-month-old boy has been released from Dayton Children’s Hospital and is recovering after being hit by a vehicle at the DeGraff Country Fair, said Chief George Piersall.

As the crowd gathered for the annual Saturday parade on North Koke Street a carnival employee driving a town car drove into the crowd injuring four people total, according to police.
The child was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital and the three other victims were taken to Mary Rutan Hospital.
The brakes on the driver’s vehicle reportedly failed, causing him to crash into the people.
Police are still investigating the scene and all victims have been released from the hospital.

A child was CareFlighted after getting hit by a vehicle at the DeGraff Country Fair this afternoon, said Logan County sheriff’s Office.
While a crowd waited for the parade to start, a vehicle reportedly drove into the group injuring a child in the process.
CareFlight responded and took the child to Dayton Children’s Hospital according to dispatch.
An update on injuries is not available at this time.
