Mayor Pete Buttigieg has dropped out of the presidential race and Dayton’s Mayor Nan Whaley has been a big supporter of his campaign.

News Center 7 talked to Mayor Nan Whaley after the news that Buttigieg had dropped out of the race.
“I am so proud of him and this amazing campaign,” she said.
“He surprised everyone through the whole campaign and continues to do the best thing for our Party and our Country. Through it all he followed his rules of the road.”
