Fairborn man dead after Beavercreek motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist has died after a crash on Dayton Xenia Road and North Fairfield Road involving him and a car, Beavercreek police said.

Zachary S. Reed, 32, of Fairborn, was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where he died.

The crash was reported at 6:50 p.m. Saturday.

Reed was driving his motorcycle north on North Fairfield and the car was traveling south on North Fairfield.  Police said Reed turned into the path of the car.

Reed was wearing a helmet.

The road was closed for about two hours for the investigation.

There is no indication on the scene of alcohol being a factor in the crash, police said.
