It has been a little over two weeks since the Miami Valley was hit with 15 tornadoes, yet some streets off Grange Hall Road in Beavercreek look like the tornado just swept through last night and the residents still need help cleaning up their properties.

"It starts wearing on you, after four, five, six days," said Ed Smith city of Mason utility manager. "It does seem like we're not getting anywhere."

News Center 7's Molly Koweek visited Beavercreek Wednesday evening and said there's still debris on the side of the road and trees that look like they were just hacked in half.

A construction crew from Mason is putting in 12-hour days.
“It’s been good because you see the good side of people but then it’s been bad because I wouldn’t wish this on anybody,” said Joyce Thommen of Beavercreek.

More than 100 volunteers have pitched in to clean up her property, she said.
“Just put your head down and keep going,” Smith said.
Church groups also have been helping out the whole time.
“All these homeowners still need help,” Thommen said.
