OHSP: 19-year-old seriously injured, flown to Miami Valley Hospital

WARREN COUNTY — UPDATE @ 4:40 a.m.:

A 19-year-old from Blanchester is being treated for serious injuries after hitting a tree early Sunday morning, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said in a release.

Preliminary investigation showed that Michael A. Bialowas was traveling east on state Route 123 in a 2010 Mazda 3 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Drug impairment or alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash, the release said.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Turtlecreek and Salem Township Fire/EMS, Morrow Police Department and the Lebanon Post of OSHP responded to the crash, which remains under investigation.

UPDATE @ 3:55 a.m.:

One person was flown to Miami Valley Hospital after their vehicle hit a tree, officials said.

There was only one person in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Their condition was not immediately known.

INITIAL REPORT:

Careflight is responding to a crash at state Route 123 near I-71.

Warren County dispatchers said that a vehicle crashed into a tree.
