CareFlight takes Darke County man from the scene of a dirt bike accident

A Darke County man was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital from the scene of a dirt bike accident, reported around 5:35 p.m. in the 1400 block of State Route 121.

The 54-year-old man was riding the dirt bike on his property without a helmet when he lost control and was ejected.

His current condition is unknown and the accident remains under investigation.

Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies, Tri Village Rescue and the New Madison Fire Department also responded to the scene.
