“We’re hoping to equip our local families with 2,000 tests or more so they can help keep themselves and their loved ones healthy,” The coordinator of the event, Stephanie Johnson, said.

This drive-thru event will take place on Friday, Nov. 18th., from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. at the Clark County Health District located at 529 E. Home Road, the spokesperson said in a media release.

Participants will receive a supply of COVID tests for themselves and the rest of the people living in their household, the spokesperson said.

These at-home tests can provide results in just a few minutes rather than multiple days residents would wait to receive their results from a lab, the spokesperson said. Confirming a COVID-19 infection early, as well as following proper protocol can help reduce the spread of the virus.

Public Health recommends that any positive tests be self-reported online by filling out a brief questionnaire on the CCCHD website, the spokesperson said.
