CINCINNATI — Two-thousand counterfeit 3M masks were seized in Cincinnati earlier this month.
On April 3, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers in Cincinnati selected a package for exam. The package was from China and listed its content as masks with a declared value of $500, according to the release.

Inside, officers discovered 2,000 counterfeit 3M masks, an Intellectual Property Rights violation. If the masks were real, they would have been worth $7,000.
The package was destined for Austin, TX. The package was seized for trademark violation.
